Bolton Wanderers suffered back to back defeats in League One with a loss on the road to Accrington Stanley.
Wanderers could have gone ahead on several occasions in the first half but opportunites for Eoin Doyle, Kieran Lee, Dapo Afolayan and Adam Senior were not taken.
The hosts scored what proved to be the only goal of the game when Tommy Leigh nodded over Joel Dixon to give the Wham Stadium the advantage which they kept.

It ensured the second loss in the space of five days on the road for Bolton and means they now sit 15th in League One.
The game saw three changes for Wanderers made by Ian Evatt, with Adam Senior making his first appearance of the season for Bolton after loan spells at Ashton United and York City, the latter of which he was recalled from last week.
And the youngster had a solid afternoon at the Wham Stadium, where he filled the right-back slot, with Wanderers fans keen to sing the praises of the academy player after his performance against Accrington.
