Only people with eagle eyes can spot the wolf among racoons in just five seconds

Optical illusions are far from easy to solve and often require a lot of patience to get through. Many of us will be familiar with these sorts of puzzles which can test how well our brain works at finding something hidden in an image. And the latest of these puzzles is no different.

There have been some truly tricky brainteaser puzzles over the years from the dress that nobody could determine the colour of, to more recent examples including the pesky cat hidden in some houses.

But this latest illusion is slightly different as it tests how well you can find something hidden in a pattern.

The brainteaser is not easy (Brightside)

The image, shared by Brightside, who are a company offering mentoring to young people, contains a sea of cartoon racoons.

But somewhere within the image is a pesky wolf which needs to be found, but it is a fair bit harder than you might think.

For those of you with eagle-eyes, this task should be completed within five seconds. So if you are up for the challenge then be sure to set yourself a timer. And however you get on, keep us posted in the comments below.

This is no easy task and will definitely test your observation skills and attention span as your brain needs to concentrate in order to keep scouring the image in search of the wolf.

Those of you with sharper observational skills might be better suited to finding it in the five second challenge - while some of you might need additional guidance on where to look for the wolf.

If you need a little hint on where to find him then be focus in on the left side of the image and look out for any larger outline as his face is bigger than those of the racoons.

This brainteaser can also test your patience (Brightside)

Thankfully, we have circled the pesky wolf in red in the image so whether you found him quickly or not you will be able to check you found the right thing. And you can tell it is him due to his lack of mask on the eyes and his different coloured ears.
