Only people with a high IQ can spot every kitten hidden in the photo in under 11 seconds

If you're a curious cat who loves brain teasers, then you're in luck.

There's a new quiz doing the rounds that challenges players to spot the cats and kittens hidden in an image, and in good news for animal lovers, you've got 15 felines to find.

But it won't be a walk in the park, as you've got to find every creature in the living room in 11 seconds to pass the test.

Luckily, you'll find it easy to locate the first few mischievous animals as they've come out to play. However, a few of the little ones are quite shy, meaning you'll have to search high and low to spot them.

Unlike the fluffballs in the picture, players don't have nine lives. So be sure to prepare yourself before taking on the brain teaser.

Relax back in your chair, hopefully with a cat on your lap, then set your timer and let the fun begin.

If you're keen for a couple of hints, either before you get started or during the game, you can scroll down to reveal those now.

Look closely at the furniture in the photo, if you're struggling to find all 15 moggies. As the photo is drawn in black and white, it is easy to overlook some of the cats who are positioned near the fixings.

In particular, you should focus your attention on the tablecloth, the carpet, the bookcase and the artwork.

Did you find them all? Or did you end up in the eye of the tiger?

Fear not, you can find the answers highlighted above.

If you're more of a dog person, you can also put your skills to the test by searching for the hidden pooch in this challenge.

You'll be pleased to know there's no time limit for this one, but you might find yourself distracted by all of the dog's faces staring back at you.
