Only one Manchester United player would be good enough to get into the Liverpool side.
That's the view from former Reds midfielder Jason McAteer who thinks that Paul Pogba has enough quality to feature for Jurgen Klopp's Premier League league leaders.
Liverpool head to Old Trafford on Sunday looking to continue their 100 per cent start to the campaign and extend their eight points lead at the top of the league.
Already United are 15 points behind Liverpool and pressure is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side ahead of the Sunday afternoon clash.
Solskjaer will be without Pogba for the game due to an injury but McAteer feels that the French international would be good enough to feature for both sides.
Speaking to the Racing Post, he explained: "The only one of their players I think could make it into the Liverpool team is Paul Pogba.
"The Reds are European champions, have won every league game this season and the mentality of the squad collectively is brilliant.
"The club is in a very good place. You might argue Marcus Rashford could get into the Liverpool team but you would have to shoehorn him into a team playing a different system - I wouldn't remove any of Liverpool's front three."
Liverpool are odds-on favourites to secure the three points and McAteer thinks that the game will demonstrate the gulf in class between the two sides.
He added: "The gulf in class between Liverpool and Manchester United is the biggest it has been in the Premier League era without a shadow of a doubt. United have issues at board level and on the pitch."
