Only masterminds can detect hidden cat nestled amongst racoons in 15 seconds

Optical illusions are a handy way to really exercise your brain, as they challenge you to focus on what's missing in an image, or the hidden object.

Those brave enough to test their IQ with these tricky puzzles will soon realise they are no small feat, and take a good level of logic and patience.

This new brain teaser is no different as it challenges you to find a hidden pesky cat in a sea of racoons - but there is a catch.

You just have 15 seconds to solve this illusion, so it's time to get your brain whirring.

Are you able to track the cat down? (Dudolf)

If you plan to give this one a go then make sure you have a stopwatch handy as this brain teaser will pit you against the clock.

The illusion might appear pretty daunting at first as there are loads of racoons and finding the cat seems a pretty tough ask.

To find the hidden feline you should try to focus on the bottom right hand side of the image. The cat has been camouflaged nicely by one of his racoon counterparts.

But if you are still struggling to find him in the 15 seconds provided then don't fear as we have you covered.

We have managed to track him down and you can see in the image below where he was hiding - and that was just in the bottom right side of the photo.

The cat was well camouflaged (Dudolf)

This isn't the only brain teaser causing problems for people recently.

Another optical illusion had people scratching their heads recently as it asks you to track down a heart in a sea of snails.

This left many of us puzzled but if you looked to the top left of the image you will see that one of the shells is actually in the shape of a heart.
