Only half of Tories believe that Boris Johnson will still be PM in a year, a new YouGov poll has found.
Across the whole country, just a third of Brits think inept Mr Johnson will survive a year in office.
The poll, conducted for pro-Remain group Best for Britain also claimed that one in seven Brits - and one in ten Leavers - think it's unlikely Mr Johnson will even make it to Halloween - his deadline for taking the UK out of the European Union.
Labour MP for Cardiff Central Jo Stevens told the Mirror that Mr Johnson "won't even make it to Halloween with his nightmare Cabinet".
She added: "The country doesn't think Boris Johnson will last long if he tries to force through the damaging no-deal Brexit he’s so constantly threatened.
"He has no mandate to trash the economy and extend austerity - and as one of the most controversial figures in modern political history, he will never unite the country.
"We plan to stop Brexit. If that means stopping Johnson too, then that's even better."
It comes as both parties stepped up preparations for a general election in the autumn.
But experts say that polls show neither Labour or the Tories would win a commanding majority - leaking votes to Remain-supporting Lib Dems and the Leave-supporting Brexit Party.
But Best for Britain chief executive Naomi Smith warned that voters Brits would vote to stay in the EU rather than face Mr Johnson's "apocalyptic Brexit".
She added: "The country is ready to boot Boris Johnson out before he's even had a chance to close the door to No 10 behind him.
"They've already had enough of his bluster, and don't want an unelected Prime Minister.
"As firms like Nissan and Ford cut thousands of jobs, Johnson has no plan.
"Johnson has no mandate for the destruction he will cause through his recklessness."
