Only 'extraordinarily intelligent' people can spot the giraffe in this illusion

Optical illusions are a great way to really challenge your brain and observational skills, as they can be really difficult to figure out.

But there's nothing more satisfying than when you finally crack it, as well as sharing it with your family and friends to see who can be the first to decipher the image.

And this particular illusion can apparently only be figured out by those who have "extraordinary intelligence" - so if you think that's you, take a look at this picture and see if you can solve it.

The Star reports that the busy-looking image features loads of toy animals including lions, hippos, rhinos, birds and elephants.

But people are being challenged to find the giraffe within 11 seconds of looking at the picture - which has left many scratching their head as it's particular well-hidden.

So can you manage to seek out the giraffe before time is up?

Playbuzz created the illusion and claimed it's tricky - but just remember the illusion is a fun way to test your IQ level.

If you're still struggling to find the animal hiding with the toys, start by looking towards the bottom right side.

It is claimed if you found the hidden giraffe in the picture in 11 seconds, it could be a sign of extraordinary intelligence.

Studies in the past show the more you exercise your brain with difficult puzzles, the smarter you'll be.

For those who still haven't cracked it, the location of the giraffe is circled in red below.

If you're in the mood to test out your brain some more, why not try sussing out another couple of optical illusions?

This one challenges you to find the hidden ballerina amongst the flamingos in just five seconds - and if you can manage it, it's a sign you've got a high IQ.

Or for something to really get your head spinning, take a look at this illusion that appears to move the longer you look at it.
