BHOPAL: A total of 10 new Covid-19 cases were reported as only 7,624 samples were tested in the state on Wednesday.
Six people recovered from the disease taking the count of recoveries so far to 10,30,441. Thus, the number of active patients increased to 47 on April 13 from 43 on April 12. It was 136 on March 31.
So far in the 13 days of April, 112 new cases have been reported in the state and in the same duration, 201 people have recovered. .
Wednesday was the 29th consecutive day when less than 50 new cases were reported in the state. Prior to this, it was on March 14 when more than 50 new cases were reported as 51 had tested positive. Since then, less than 50 cases are being reported every day. No death was reported in the state on April 13. Positivity rate was 0.13%.
New infections were reported from 6 of the 52 districts. Indore had four new cases while Bhopal reported two new cases. Gwalior, Raisen, Singrauli and Jabalpur districts reported one new case each.
