Only 11 out of 102 drafted heroes remain unbeaten in TI 2025’s group stage

The group stage of The International 2025 has come to an end, and the numbers tell a fascinating story about just how competitive this year’s tournament has been.

With 102 heroes drafted across 108 matches, the diversity in strategies has been impressive, showing that no single pick or meta has completely dominated the stage. Yet, even in such a balanced field, a small group of heroes managed to stand out.

Only 11 heroes walked away with flawless win rates through the entirety of the group stage, a statistic that underlines both their impact in the current meta and the razor-thin margins separating success from defeat.

Troll Warlord leads the spotlight, standing tall with a flawless 8-0 record, making him undefeated and one of the most frequently contested heroes among those with perfect win rates. His dominance highlights his strength in the current meta and the confidence teams have in drafting him.

Behind Troll Warlord, the remaining undefeated heroes come with much smaller sample sizes, showing that many were situational cheese picks or used as pocket strategies.

Elder Titan (3-0), Tidehunter (2-0), Lone Druid (2-0), Broodmother (2-0), Meepo (2-0), Juggernaut (2-0), and Bloodseeker (2-0) all made their mark in limited appearances. Meanwhile, Spectre, Vengeful Spirit, and Oracle rounded out the list with single, successful showings.

These numbers suggest that while they were effective, most of these picks were tailored for specific matchups rather than consistent go-to choices. Just shy of perfection, Spirit Breaker and Night Stalker both impressed with four wins in five games, maintaining strong 80% win rates across meaningful sample sizes.

These results place them firmly among the most effective heroes of the group stage, showing that impact isn’t just about perfection but also reliability over multiple matches. Beyond the headline-grabbing perfect records, the real backbone of the group stage came from heroes with high pick rates and solid win percentages.

Bane stood out as one of the most dependable supports, appearing in 33 games with a 54.55% win rate, proving popular and trustworthy. Earthshaker was equally vital, offering game-changing team fight control while achieving a 60% win rate across 30 appearances in various roles.

Several other core picks shaped the competitive meta as well. Monkey King earned a 56.52% win rate in 23 matches, while Shadow Fiend posted an impressive 63.64% win rate in 22 games. Lycan remained a strong utility pick with a 55% win rate in 20 appearances, and Void Spirit stayed consistent with 55.56% across 18 games.

These numbers reveal the heroes teams trusted most to deliver results, balancing versatility and effectiveness across different drafts. As the main event approaches, these group stage trends set the stage for even greater drama.

The big question now is whether heroes like Troll Warlord can keep their perfect records alive when the stakes rise, and if others with strong but not flawless performances can break through under playoff pressure. The shift from group stage to playoffs always brings surprises, and these stats give fans a preview of which heroes might define the battles for the Aegis of Champions.
