Onlookers left horrified as punches thrown in Dublin city centre brawl

Members of the public were left horrified after two men brawled in Dublin city centre today.

Video footage of the incident on O'Connell St showed two men getting into a violent row, with one of the men appearing to instigate the fight and attempt to rob something from the other. The fight was occurring just metres away from Luas tracks near the GPO.

Dozens of onlookers observed the incident, with many appearing hesitant to walk past the men. The man who appeared to be instigating the incident threw a number of punches at the other man and tackled him to the ground.
