2022 was a year to celebrate for thousands of Mecca Bingo's online players, with the total prize money given away across the website and app reaching £1.3 billion. The biggest single win of the year was £47,650. Glasgow was crowned the luckiest city in terms of overall prize money, sharing £1.8m amongst 3,301 bingo and slots players, while the North West had the most wins of any region, with 28,551 players bagging over £10.3m.
The cities with the highest number of big money winners were Aberdeen, Falkirk, Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea, all of which had three residents in the top 100 jackpot wins.
