Police are dealing with an ongoing incident in Possil, with some cops seen 'in full riot gear' on a residential street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: "an ongoing police incident" in Barloch Street in the north of the city this evening, however further details are unable to be provided at this time.
Photos posted on social media appear to show police officers decked out in riot gear and carrying shields, while there are police cars and vans pictured at the scene.
Furthermore, one comment on the No1seems2care community page reads: "Ongoing Police operation in Possil. Police in full riot gear with shields. Hope no one is hurt."
Barloch Street is found just off Saracen Street in the centre of Possil.
