Police are responding to an ongoing incident in Maryhill as they urge drivers to avoid the area.
The Greater Glasgow Police force are asking motorists to avoid an area near to Leyden Street and Bilsland Drive in the north of Glasgow, as they remain on the scene.
A Greater Glasgow Police statement issued reads: "Police are asking motorists to avoid the area of Leyden Street and Bilsland Drive #Glasgow while we deal with an ongoing police incident.
"Thank you for your patience in this matter."
UPDATE 17.20: Police Scotland have confirmed to Glasgow Live officers are in attendance over "concern for a person."
