Police officer injured amid 'ongoing incident' near River Clyde as man led away by cops

Police are currently dealing with an ‘ongoing incident’ near the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Video footage sent to the Daily Record shows several marked police vehicles and uniformed officers in attendance on South Street, near Castlebank Terrace, on Wednesday lunchtime.

One policeman appears to have been injured and can be seen on his knees while his colleagues stand around him.

A second video clip shows another man being led away from the scene and into the back of a police van.

The nature of the incident is not currently known.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
