Ongoing incident in Falkirk as emergency services 'searching water'

Emergency services have swarmed a Falkirk street amid an ongoing incident.

Cops, fire crews and paramedics have raced to Stenhouse Drive and Lomond Drive on Saturday, November 20.

A major operation is underway with search and rescue water units also in attendance this evening.

Scottish Ambulance Service major incident response teams and Police Scotland's dog unit are also at the scene.

The nature of the incident remains unclear but it's believed to be linked to a search of the River Carron.

It's not yet known if anyone has been injured.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
