The Detroit Lions needed some additional help rushing the passer coming into the NFL Draft, and while the team didn’t do much to help the rush on Days 1 and 2, they started Day 3 by trading back, picking up an extra sixth-round pick and drafting rush end Austin Bryant from Clemson.
Many thought the Lions got themselves a very productive player who translates to the NFL game:
Others, however, were not nearly as sold:
But there’s certainly no questioning his toughness after playing through a torn pectoral muscle:
