OnePlus 7 Pro to feature CURVED display, pop-up selfie camera and 5G connectivity

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation smartphones, and there's one device in particular that fans of the Chinese tech brand are very excited about.

The company's flagship device, the OnePlus 7 Pro, is rumoured to feature a 6.64-inch curved Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display – a big step up from the OLED screens seen on current OnePlus phones.

The display is said to have a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is higher than most phones, suggesting OnePlus it could be aimed at mobile gamers.

OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau posted an official teaser on Twitter earlier this week, emphasising the "smoothness" of the device, which may be a reference to this refresh rate.

The rear camera will have three lenses, including a 48-megapixel primary lens, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide angle lens. 

There will also be a pop-up selfie camera, removing the need for a "notch" in the top of the display.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and will come with the option of OnePlus 5G will arrive on EE next year and promises AMAZING performance, according to reports.

It is rumoured to have a 4000 mAH battery, and will feature OnePlus' Warp Charge 30 technology, which provides 50% charge in just 20 minutes and 100% charge in an hour.

OnePlus is expected to unveil the new device at a big event on May 14, where it will also show off its cheaper OnePlus 7.

The OnePlus 7 is rumoured to have either a 6.2-inch or a 6.4-inch flat OLED display, with a teardrop-shaped notch at the top of the screen to house the selfie camera.

The rear camera will have two lenses, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor.

The OnePlus 7 will also sport a Snapdragon 855 processor and come with at least 6GB of RAM, as well as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, according to reports.

The standard OnePlus 7 will likely come in at a very similar price to the OnePlus 6T, which starts at £499.

However, the Pro version will cost more - potentially as much as £599 or £699, depending on whether or not you opt for the 5G version.
