People from every country on the planet live in London, and we’re asking you to help one Magnum photographer in his mission to meet and take pictures of them all.

Chris Steele-Perkins hopes his New British project, which aims to photograph, at home, families living in London who come from every country in the world, will be “a record of a new London, a new Britain and a celebration of the fabulous cultural richness of the city”.

The Guardian has spoken with families from Chile, Nigeria and Mauritius who have already taken part in the project, and produced a gallery of some of Steele-Perkins’ images so far, and now we’re asking you to get involved.
