One World concert: From Lady Gaga to Elton John, Billie Eilish to The Rolling Stones – the world's biggest stars perform for Together At Home

Some of the biggest musical stars on the planet performed for One World: Together at Home, the global concert organised in collaboration with Lady Gaga for coronavirus relief, on Saturday.

Taylor Swift, Sir Paul McCartney, The Killers, The Rolling Stones, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, Sir Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, The Killers, Kacey Musgraves, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, and many, many more, all took part in the event on 18 April.

Organised by Gaga and Global Citizen, a charitable organisation, the concert consisted of a six-hour pre-show available to stream online, before a two-hour main event that aired both online and on television.

The global special has raised more than $50m (£40m) benefiting healthcare workers and the World Health Organisation. However, Lady Gaga had made clear ahead of time that the concert was not a fundraising telethon, and that it would focus instead on entertainment and messages of solidarity.

This materialised on Saturday night, as performances by celebrities alternated with public service announcements and tributes to essential workers.

Highlights included a rousing performance of “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John, songs by Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, and a heartfelt speech by Beyonce. You can view a full list of the night’s most impactful moments here.
