A person was rushed to hospital following a roll-over collision on the M50.
Gardai and Dublin Fire Brigade were alerted to the scene of the crash which happened M50 Northbound near J7 Lucan at 11 am this morning.
The person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Motorists faced heavy delays as the road was closed for a time while emergency services dealt with the collision.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles that occurred at approximately 11am on Monday, 30th August, 2021, on the M50 Northbound near Junction 7 (Lucan).
"It's reported at this time one person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"The road was closed for a brief period but has since reopened fully."
