"Nigerian schoolchildren who received laptops from a U.S. aid organization have used them to explore pornographic sites on the Internet, the official News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)," says Reuters, putting the story in its fun section, Oddly Enough.
Someone from the One Laptop Per Child project says they'll now fit the computers with filters ... though you have to wonder why they didn't do that in the first place. It really would be a shock if there wasn't at least one person from MIT who knew there was porn on the net..... (Well, you already saw this one, didn't you?)
