One person was taken to hospital after a crash which saw a car flipped onto its roof.
Emergency services were called to a crash between two cars on Portland Road in Southport at 5.51pm today, Thursday, July 15.
A blue Nissan and black Ford were involved in the crash, which saw police close the road for more than two hours.

The blue Nissan was left on its roof after the crash with debris scattered across the road.
The North West Ambulance Service were also called to the scene and took one person to hospital for a check up after the crash.

The road was reopened at 8.15pm.
