One person reported after three-vehicle smash on Scots road

One person has been reported for a road traffic offence after a three-vehicle smash on a Scots road this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Maryhill Road, Glasgow, around 3pm on Friday to reports of a three-vehicle collision.

A 38-year-old man has now been reported for a road traffic offence following the collision.

A photograph of the incident shows extensive damage to drivers side of a grey vehicle with debris scattered across the road.

A red car can also be seen behind the motor with a damaged front bumper.

Police Scotland previously said one person had been taken to hospital as a precaution.

However, they later added: “Around 3pm on Friday, 1 April, 2022, officers were called to a report of a crash on Maryhill Road in the Bearsden area of Glasgow involving three vehicles.

"There were no reports of any injuries made to police, however a 38-year-old man has been reported for a road traffic offence.”
