One person taken to hospital after crash on busy A469 roundabout near Ystrad Mynach

One person has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy roundabout in Caerphilly .

The A469 nothbound is closed due to an accident, from the turning for Ystrad Mynach (Pwllypant) to Rue De Ploubezre (Llanbradach Roundabout, Llanbradach).

The Welsh Ambulance Service said that one person has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff .

Their condition is unknown. 

Traffic information services suggest that traffic in the area is coping well.

The road was closed before 10.45am.
