One person was killed and two dozen people were wounded in Russian drone attacks across Ukraine on Monday, local authorities said, as Kyiv and Moscow step up long-range strikes amid stalled peace talks.
The death occurred in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson. Eight people were wounded in the northern town of Chernihiv, where power was cut to 10,000 residents, authorities said.
Emergency services shared images from Chernigiv showing teams of firefighters dousing a large blaze in the middle of the night following the attacks.
