A person has been rushed to hospital after a smash between a motorbike and a car on the A92.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Arbroath, Angus, shortly before 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 6.
The northbound carriageway was partially blocked by debris following the collision while police and paramedics quickly arrived to help.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has confirmed that one patient has been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
Their current condition is not known.
A spokesperson for the SAS: “We received a call at 12.27 to attend a road traffic collision (RTC) on the A92.
“We dispatched an ambulance to the scene and transported a patient to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on the A92 around half a mile from Arbroath around 12.20pm on Tuesday, 6 July, 2021.
"Emergency services attended and there does not appear to be any life threatening injuries.
"Both drivers have been reported in connection with road traffic offences."
