One of the world's most famous makeup brands has come to the Trafford Centre for a limited time

Beauty buffs have gone wild after discovering that one of the world's most famous makeup artists has launched her makeup line in the Trafford Centre. Lisa Eldridge has millions of followers across the globe, and is highly regarded by many as one of the best in the business.

Lisa has worked with countless celebrities, and it's likely that almost anybody will have seen her work somewhere. Some of her most famous clients include Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Kate Winslet, Kiera Knightley, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss, to name just a few.

Following her international success, she started her own makeup line, which is usually only available to buy on a handful of websites, including her own namesake website and Selfridges. But now beauty lovers can test out all of her products inside the Trafford Centre.

For a limited time, shoppers will be able to find the Lisa Eldridge stand outside Selfridges in the main dome. I visited the pop up for myself, and was blown away by the number of products available.

One of my stand-out hero products was the Seamless Skin foundation, which is buildable and comes in a diverse range of 43 shades. It also claims to last for 12 hours.

Another hero product to look out for is the Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist. I've been using this myself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute godsend in the heat.

The multifunctional, ultra-fine makeup mist has been infused with skin-loving ingredients, and can be used to set makeup and to hydrate makeup and skin throughout the day. It's a handbag 'must' for the hot Summer months.

As well as makeup to buy, Lisa's expert team of makeup artists will be on hand offering makeovers and giving out tips and tricks to shoppers. The team is on hand to help you find what you need, but if you want a makeover, you may need to book in advance, as they're in high demand.

When the pop-up opened, I sat down with Lisa to chat about it, and why she wanted to bring her brand to Manchester. Here's what she told me:

Why did you want to bring your range specifically to Manchester?

It’s really important for me to come to the north of England because a lot of my childhood was in Liverpool, and that’s how I know Manchester so well. I was very happy to be able to launch in London last week, and it only makes sense to also come to Manchester, and bring my range here too.

Why did you choose the Trafford Centre in particular?

I chose the Trafford Centre in particular because the pop up space is right outside the main door and it has great daylight above it with the dome, so for foundation matching, it’s actually perfect because you do have daylight there as well. It’s also a great place that people can come and park their cars and be able to sit in the chair and actually spend time trying the colours and looking at the makeup.

How did you find the Selfridges beauty hall when you visited?

I love the Beauty Hall. It’s really well spaced out and feels very airy, and I like the way it’s not sectioned off so it’s one big area that feels very airy and inviting.

What is your favourite product that people can find at the Trafford Centre?

It's hard to choose one, but I recently launched my new Skin Enhancing Treatment Cleanser and Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist, both of which were in the making for many years and I own the IP. I created the cleanser to work as both a cleanser and hydrating mask and during clinical trials it was proven to remove 100% of long-wearing make-up and waterproof SPF, while increasing skin moisturisation by 73%! I have also used the face mist on all my clients during skin prep and to settle the makeup with a beautiful, fresh glow.

Why should people visit the Lisa Eldridge stand?

People should visit my stand because I’ve got great makeup artists that have been trained by me, and we have time to really spend looking at undertones and get really good foundation matching. Also, we have such a wide range of lip colours which, obviously, online sometimes can be tricky to imagine exactly what the shades are like. I also have samples of my cleanser, so it’s really nice to be able to get those samples and be able to experiment and try the different products

What makes Lisa Eldridge stand out from all of the other makeup brands in store?

I think that my brand really stands out because obviously I’m a makeup artist of many, many years and have decades of experience and I’m bringing something which I’ve developed all of the formulas and shades myself so I’m very hands on. I’m lucky that my brand is quite new and quite small so everything has an awful lot of care and attention and thoughtfulness.

The Lisa Eldridge pop-up stall can be found outside Selfridges in the main dome until Sunday July 2.
