Everton's Lucas Digne believes Marco Silva is one of the best managers in football.
The left-back explained that his boss is someone that gives him "a lot of confidence" while outlining that the Portuguese is a man working meticulously to help the Blues improve.
Digne also explained that Silva is an excellent communicator and helps every player to "understand exactly" what role they have to play with the team.
The French international, who captained Everton for the first time on Tuesday during the 2-0 League Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday, has played under Barcelona manager Luis Enrique and World Cup winning boss with France Dider Deschamps.
“He [Marco] is one of the best, no question,” Digne told the club's official website .
“He gives you a lot of confidence.
“We work a lot during the week. Set pieces, tactics, organisation, our system, our opponents. We work on everything.
“The manager understands his job perfectly.
“He is excellent at communicating what he wants and every player understands exactly their role.
“You can see how many players have improved under him.”
Digne also said he wanted to keep progressing with Everton and that he "hates to lose".
The defender added: “If you are on the pitch, you are there to win,” he added.
“It is part of me. I hate to lose.
“I am like this and I don’t want to change for anything.
“I want to give myself every chance to do what I want… to push myself to achieve the maximum I can.
“I want to win everything.”
