One of Ryanair's most hated policies to return and will hit customers wallets

One of Ryanair's most hated policies by its millions of customers is to be reintroduced at the end of September with Dublin Airport passengers set to be hit hard.

At the height of the Covid pandemic and with uncertainty in international travel, Ryanair introduced the customer-friendly policy of zero change fees if a customer needed to change their departure date.

However, with travel around the EU now returning to some level of normality, Ryanair is set to bring back fees if customers need to change the date of their flight.

Flight bookings made up to September 30 with a departure date before December 31, 2021, will not have to pay fees to change the date of the flight.

If a passengers departure date needs to be changed outside of the 24 hour grace period, prices begin at €35 depending on the route and travel date selected.

There are other terms that passengers need to fulfil in order to qualify for the zero change fees policy.

Passengers rescheduled flights will need to take place "at least seven days before the originally scheduled departure dates."

If the fare of the new flight is more expensive than the original, the customer must pay the difference between the original fare and the new one.
