Emile Smith Rowe's popularity amongst the Arsenal fanbase has just increased.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a first-team regular this season, taking his chance against Chelsea on Boxing Day with both hands, and has not looked back since.
In fact, he has become one of Mikel Arteta's undroppables when fit and available for selection whether that be operating in his favoured no.10 role or from the left-hand side to accommodate January loan signing Martin Odegaard in the same lineup.
So far, Smith Rowe has made 26 senior appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and weighing in with a respectable seven assists.
He could get his 27th outing of the season when Arsenal host Everton in the Premier League on Friday night and the attacking midfielder did something in training ahead of the game at the Emirates Stadium to get many supporters talking.
As spotted in a behind-the-scenes of Arsenal's training session video uploaded to the club's YouTube page, Smith Rowe was being put through his paces alongside the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Willian.
And at around the 2.15-minute mark, he spots the cameras and pats the Arsenal crest on his training top for a couple of seconds.
This caught the eye of fans on Reddit and it's safe to say they loved Smith Rowe's gesture.
