One of Liverpool's most popular restaurants Christakis opens third venue

One of Liverpool’s most popular restaurants has opened a third site in the city due to demand.

Christakis made a triumphant return to Liverpool after owner Christakis Georgiou decided he’d rather not retire back in 2019.

The first restaurant, on Duke Street, quickly rose through the ranks of TripAdvisor and became number one in the city for almost a year.

Since then, Christakis has opened a stall at the Baltic Market - and now the owners have launched a new restaurant in south Liverpool.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Christakis wrote: “Liverpool’s legendary party venue Christakis now has two locations to choose between - on Duke Street in the city centre and Aigburth Road in Cressington.

“Expect the best of Greek and Mediterranean food with an expanded menu and that fab party atmosphere with Green dancers, belly dancers and JDs til midnight at weekends.

“Whatever your preference, Christakis makes the ideal venue for a weekend fun-filled party or a delicious Greek meal during the week.

“Try the famous Mixed Grill or their meat and fish platters for two to share.”

The new site will be serving up all the Christakis favourites such as the Christakis Platter which is made up of a mixed grill, lamb chops and ribs, chicken kebabs and wings, halloumi and much more.

Christakis Aigburth is now open at 544-548 Aigburth Road, Cressington, L19 3QG.
