One of Liverpool's most iconic buildings will host an eerie ghost hunt

One of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings is set to host a huge ghost hunt.

St George’s Hall Heritage Centre will play host to the eerie ghost hunt this September as guests are given the chance to follow in the footsteps of former prisoners sentenced to death in the courts.

Hosted by Dusk Till Dawn Events, the ghost hunt will take visitors through the original court rooms, prison cells, holding cells and catacombs beneath the iconic building.

The description for the event says St Geroge’s Hall Heritage Centre is thought to be haunted by prisoners left behind to die.

The building is also said to be on the site of an old infirmary, medical library and asylum.

Over the years, there are a range of dark shadows and ghost sightings reported, along with poltergeist activity and temperature drops.

The catacombs and tunnels are even reported to be home to a ‘tall spirit man who has been heard screaming within the darkness at the end of the corridors’.

Those brave enough can take on the ghost hunt at St George’s Hall on September 21.

Tickets are available now via www.dusktilldawnevents.co.uk , with prices starting from £59.
