One of Liverpool's most famous fans shows his colours in visit from Premier League legend

One of Liverpool's most famous fans, actor and businessman Arnold Schwarzenegger, has shown his colours again.

Premier League legend Alan Shearer took a trip to the United States to meet the 74-year-old at his office in Santa Monica, California.

In a video shared by @PLinUSA on Twitter, Schwarzenegger was pictured signing and holding Liverpool's 2021/22 home kit.

"Soccer [football] is not only just a competitive sport, but it is great, great entertainment," he said.

"This [Premier League trophy] represents the sacrifice, the dedication, the hard work that goes into winning something like that.

"I'm so happy that I had the chance to have this trophy come to my office here. This is fantastic.

"Hasta la vista and I'll be back."

Schwarzenegger shared his allegiances two years ago as the Hollywood superstar said in an interview with BBC Sport in 2019: "I like Liverpool.

"They are not always successful but the momentum is there right now.

"Sometimes, and I don't know why, they lose some stupid games then they come right back again. When they say 'I'll be back', they are back."

Shearer is in the United States for the Premier League Mornings Live event in California, the first ever in the State, that's taking place in Los Angeles this weekend.

Previous fan festivals have previously been held in New York, Washington DC, Boston and Austin, Texas.
