One of Kris Jenner’s Oldest Christmas Posts Is Also One of Her Very Best – It Features Small Trees That Are So Inspiring for 2025

Nobody would blame you for not scrolling back to Kris Jenner's 2017 Instagram posts – I did it, because I knew you probably wouldn't. While browsing the momager's old photos, I stumbled upon her entryway Christmas decorations from that year and realised they should still inform our design decisions in 2025.

Almost eight years after Kris shared her trio of smaller Christmas trees, their size and colorful ornaments have never felt more inspiring. As someone who lives in a small city apartment, I always love to see how celebrities style smaller trees, and her combination of blue string lights (like these from Amazon) and red ornaments (just like these from Wayfair) is one of the easiest to follow.

Whether you invest in three small trees or decorate one in a similar red-and-blue palette, following Kris's example has never felt simpler. They'll make a beautiful first impression in an entryway like hers, but honestly, there's no bad place to showcase such a tree.

Shop the look

Ultimately, despite its date, Kris Jenner’s 2017 holiday look proves that great design doesn’t expire. Her playful mix of small trees, vibrant red ornaments, and cool blue lights feels just as fresh and stylish in 2025 as it did back then, which is why I think it's worth reviving this year.

It’s a perfect reminder that thoughtful, colorful decorating can work in any home (yes, even my tiny space), and I'm sure it'll look just as classic in another eight years from now. Timeless, approachable, and endlessly inspiring, this is a look that’s only gained relevance over time.
