One of Ireland's most violent rapists who is 'serious threat' to women allegedly staying in Dublin city hotel

A convicted rapist considered to be 'one of Ireland's most violent' and a 'serious threat to women' is allegedly staying in a Dublin hotel.

The sex offender is said to have moved back to Ireland in recent weeks and is saying in a city centre hotel.

And what's even more frightening, the man who is aged in his early 50s, does not have to inform gardaí of his movements or address changes as his single rape conviction pre-dates the sex offenders’ register

The rapist - whose conviction dates back to the 1990s - is now back on the streets of Dublin according to The Irish Mail on Sunday.

He was released from prison in 2015 and fled abroad but is believed to be staying in a hotel near Temple Bar for the past two weeks.

As well as his single conviction, he is also suspected of carrying out a number of sexual attacks as sources claim he is 'one of the most violent offenders' Ireland has ever had and is a 'serious threat' to women.

It is feared that the man could even kill as he is alleged to have drugged, tied up, raped and repeatedly beaten victims.

A number of women have also come forward in the past claiming that they had been raped by the dangerous man but were all too afraid to make official complaints.

Garda stations around the hotel in question have issued a bulletin on the rapist's whereabouts.
