One moment leaves Love Island fans fuming as they turn on fan favourite

Love Island fan favourite Paige has been labelled "rude" after ushering Danica away moments after Wednesday night's recoupling.

The softly spoken islander was chatting to a fuming Antigoni after Danica had taken Jay, the man she had hoped to couple up with to explore a romantic connection.

And as Danica walked over to have a chat with the girls, Paige instead asked if they could speak on their own for a few minutes.

But the little interaction did not go down well with viewers, former winner Amber Gill tweeted: "Paige was rude there, I hate fake nice."

Another said: "What I don’t get about Paige is how she summoned the strength to shoo the other girls away but can’t stand up for herself with Jacques whilst he called her pathetic?"

While another fan said: "I'm sorry but Paige is giving mean girl sometimes.. Shooing Danica away? Ion like dat."

Meanwhile fans have 'worked out' who will be next to leave the villa after the latest recoupling.

Ekin-Su received a text during tonight's show, where she revealed to the rest of the Islanders that there would be a recoupling after the chaos of the previous events, which saw some of the closest couples tested by the sexy dance challenge.

Indiyah and Dami failed to raise their partner's heart rates the most, whilst Jacques angered Paige as his heart rate went the highest for his ex-girlfriend Gemma Owen. Luca and Gemma hit the rocks as her heart rate went high for Jacques too.

Elsewhere, Tasha fumed at Andrew after his heart rate rose the most for someone else and not her - despite her being a professional dancer - whilst newbies Danica, Antigoni and Charlie all gave it their best shot to impress.

At the recoupling tonight, Ekin-Su was tasked with the toughest decision, as she debated whether to partner with new boy Charlie, Jay or her original interest Davide.

Eventually, she decided to pick Davide - who was thrilled with her choice - leaving Jay and Charlie up for grabs for Danica and Antigoni. Dami and Indiyah recoupled together, as did Jacques and Paige, Gemma and Luca and Tasha and Andrew.

Now the public have been giving the responsibility of choosing who will leave next, and fans of the show are convinced they know who will be booted out - insisting the recoupling has made it all pretty "obvious".

Taking to social media, one fan theorised: "OK, Danica & Charlie next to leave the villa #LoveIsland," as another added: "Danica doesn't listen, Jay doesn't want you. She's setting herself up to leave next. #LoveIsland."

A third wrote: "My prediction on the next islander to leave the villa… sorry Charlie I legit forgot your name earlier #LoveIsland #dumped," with a fourth penning: "antigoni, danica, jay & charlie choose between each other and force a connection or you’ll all be the next 4 to leave #loveisland."

Mulling over their decisions, Danica expressed an interest in Jay, as she said: "If I’m honest, you were in my top three when I first came in, looks wise, so it’s not like I’d be completely closed off to being in a couple with yourself. I think it’s important for me to let you know that you’re somebody that I would consider."

Whilst Antigoni said of her decision: "With Davide, I’m super comfortable - we really get along. Whatever it ended up being, it would be authentic. With Jay there was an initial attraction there but obviously I came in as this whole saga with Paige was unravelling and now he’s turned round in the last few days and is like I want to get to know you on a more romantic level."
