A man in his 30s has been arrested after a frightening broad daylight robbery in north Dublin.
The hold-up took place at the Post Office in Kilbarrack Shopping Centre just before 3pm this evening.
It is alleged that the Postmaster was attacked during the incident before the thieves fled the scene in a car.
An Post said that the incident was currently being dealt with by the gardai and no further comment would be made at this time.
A spokesman for the gardai confirmed the robbery to Dublin Live and added that one man had been arrested and investigations are ongoing.
