One lucky Irish Lotto player scoops €500,000 in daily million draw

One lucky Irish lotto winner scooped €500,000 in Tuesday night's Daily Million draw.

While there was no winner of the whopping €1 million cash prize in the Daily Million main draw, one lucky punter bagged the top prize of €500,000 in the Daily Million Plus draw.

The National Lottery confirmed this Wednesday morning that the winner has made contact and arrangements are being made for them to collect their prize.

This latest win is the fourth time a player has scooped the plus top prize in just four weeks. So far this year, the Daily Million game has also seen three players become millionaires after they won the top prize of €1 Million.

A spokesperson from the National Lottery praised the "incredible stream of wins."

"So far this year, the game has made three brand new millionaires after players scooped the top prize of €1 Million and seen four players take home the plus top prize worth a handsome half a million euro.

"We can confirm that last night's winner has made contact and arrangements are currently being made for them to collect their prize. The player from Dublin, who wishes to keep their win private, purchased their winning ticket online or on the National Lottery app," they said.

The winning ticket successfully matched all six winning numbers, on top of the bonus ball. The numbers on the night for the Daily Million Plus draw were: 6, 9, 11, 13, 21, 34 and the bonus ball of 23.

The National Lottery has also stated that there are still six unclaimed lotto prizes. These include the following:

Lotto

Euromillions Plus €500,000 24/02/2023 Dublin

Daily Million €1,000,000 15/04/2023 Tipperary

Prizes that are not claimed within 90 days of the draw date will go to promote the National Lottery which, in turn, will increase the funds raised for good causes.
