One person has been rushed to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the M8 in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the collision at Junction 19 of the motorway westbound at around 12.10pm this afternoon.
Police Scotland say that one person has been taken to hospital from the scene, however the extent of their injuries remains unclear.
The busy stretch of road has been reduced to one lane as a result of the incident.
Google Maps currently shows miles of moving traffic in the area. Officials have urged drivers to find alternative routes.
Photos sent to Glasgow Live show emergency services on the scene, with reports indicating that one person had to be cut free from a vehicle involved in the incident.
