One in six Brits believe the moon landings were STAGED, survey reveals

In 1969, NASA made history after landing the first ever manned mission on the moon.

While the Apollo 11 mission was eagerly watched by people around the world, it seems that a considerable number believe it was actually staged.

A new survey has revealed that 16% of Brits think the moon landing was staged.

The survey, conducted by YouGov, asked 2,039 UK adults about their beliefs in various conspiracy theories.

The results revealed that 12% of Brits believe the moon landing was ‘probably’ staged, while 4% think it ‘definitely’ was fake.

Interestingly, older respondents were considerably less likely to believe the moon landing was staged than younger respondents.

The survey also revealed that one in four Brits believe that the threat of climate change is exaggerated, while one in five think that vaccinations have harmful effects that aren’t fully disclosed.

However, while the ‘flat Earth theory’ is gaining momentum in the US, it seems that Brits aren’t so convinced, with just 3% believing that our planet is flat.
