Mashable has a very timely, if slightly gloomy, list of 100 recruitment websites covering specialisms from writing and blogging to programming, babysitting and jobs in the performing arts.
There some obscure selections in here, not least TwitHire.com, which condenses job openings into 140 characters, OneHourTranslation.com, for those with speedy translation skills and FuseJobs.co.uk as the token site for London recruitment. I have to say few of these sites have quite the power of LinkedIn, which has seen phenomenal growth since the economy started wobbling and has long been an indicator of staff with itchy feet. Just keep an eye out for those recently plumped profiles...
