One person has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the A470 near Pontypridd.
South Wales Police confirmed one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two vehicle crash this evening, Monday September 6.
Photos show a car overturned on the busy road, near Treforest Industrial Estate. The silver vehile can be seen on its roof and near a grassy verge on the edge of the carriageway.
The accident happened on the A470 between the Upper Boat Interchange and Heol Crochendy, near Screwfix, at around 5pm.
The A4054 Main Avenue was blocked while emergency services attended. The road has now reopened and congestion is easing in the area.
Both the ambulance service and South Wales Fire and Rescue have been approached for comment.
South Wales Police have yet to confirm any more details about the crash.
