PUNE: The Faraskhana police have arrested Abhishekh Balu Sasane, alias Abhishekh Manoj Patil (20), of Kothrud and detained his two minor accomplices for robbing autorickshaw passengers.
Patil had first robbed an autorickshaw from an auto driver and then committed other robberies with his minor accomplices over the last few days, the police said. The police recovered the robbed autorickshaw, sharp weapons, a motorcycle, three cell phones, and other valuables worth Rs1.89 lakh from them. Senior police inspector Rajendra Landg said, “Sasane and two other boys are school dropouts and they do not work. Their parents are casual workers.”
