An Edinburgh hotel room will contain a special gift worth thousands on Christmas Eve today.
One hotel guest will arrive in the city later to find that they have landed a treat valued at £2,500 – not a bad way to kick off the festivities.
The gift, a surprise trip to London for two, will be picked up by somebody visiting the Apex Waterloo Place hotel.
The recipient will get to stay in the luxury grand suite at the Apex Temple Court hotel with breakfast, wine, flights and sharing plates for two at Lazy Ballerinas on one night.
Throughout December Apex have been leaving gifts in hotel rooms throughout Scotland as part of their Apex advent calendar, but the biggest and best gift will be won in Edinburgh today.
