One Direction star Louis Tomlinson meets fans in Glasgow as crowd bursts into song

Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was in Argyle Street's HMV signing copies of his latest album ‘Faith In The Future’ earlier today.

Fans of the pop star were singing and dancing outside as they queued to meet the singer.

Tomlinson rose to fame after being put in a boyband alongside Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles after a suggestion from X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger.

The quintet would go onto have global success and One Direction became one of the biggest selling boybands of all-time.

Following their split in 2016 the 30-year-old embarked on a solo career with his most recent album peaking at number one in the charts.

The crowd were delighted by the star, each fan left with a smile.

One keen fan even managed to beat the global popstar at a crucial game of rock, paper, scissors, which means her dad has to purchase a ticket for Tomlinson's show in Sheffield.

The ex-boyband star is now due to meet fans in Edinburgh's Ocean Terminal HMV store at 5pm today.
