One Direction singer Niall Horan sends Liverpool's Harry Wilson transfer warning

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson returned to pre-season training at Melwood on Saturday, and former One Direction star Niall Horan had a bold message for him.

The 22-year-old impressed during his loan spell at Derby County where he scored 15 times for Frank Lampard's side last term.

Wilson, who will be looking to have an impact during the off season, shared a picture to his Instagram following his first day back at training.

The attacking midfielder, who came within a whisker of promotion to the Premier League, wrote: "Pre-season Day 1".

Horan, 25, who supports Derby County, replied to the post urging: "Get back to Derby and stop your messing around!"

The message received 729 likes and while fans of the Rams were buzzing with the 'Slow Hands' singer many Liverpool supporters weren't impressed.

One fan told the Irishman: "He's home Niall, leave it!" As another Instagram user added: "Woah hands off!"

With one more fan warning: "Back off. He is our boy. LFC is the only one direction for him."

The Welshman should be involved on Thursday as Jurgen Klopp's team begin their pre-season run of friendlies with a trip to Prenton Park to take on Tranmere Rovers.
