Hotel Du Vin, at One Devonshire Gardens, found beautiful mosaic floors underneath the carpets of the west end hotel.
The venue is currently undergoing a refurbishment of the public areas and unearthed the stunning tiles.

Staff have now incorporated the decor into their plans to showcase the floor tiles in the main entrance area.
The west end boutique hotel began refurbishing the rooms last year, giving each of the 49 rooms a special makeover.
The decor is taking inspiration from the flora and fauna of the Botanic Gardens nearby, as well as the hotel chain’s reputation for fine wine and champagne.
