A person has died after a fatal fire in Moray.
The blaze ripped through a property on Union Street in Keith around 3.35pm today.
Fire crews swarmed the scene but sadly discovered a body within the building.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a fire at a property on Union Street in Keith around 3.35pm on Sunday, 28 November, 2021.
“The fire has been extinguished by the fire service but sadly a body of a person was found within.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
Scottish Fire and Rescue team confirmed they attended the scene.
