A further coronavirus patient in Merseyside has died after testing positive for coronavirus.
After a weekend with no virus deaths registered at any of our region's hospital Trusts, sadly there has been a new fatality recorded in today's update.
That death occured at the Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust, taking its total death count now to 151.
There were no other covid-19 deaths registered at any other of our region's NHS Trusts.

NHS England said that across hospitals in England, a further 10 people who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,291.
Patients were aged between 48 and 93 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
