One change for Notts County as Neal Ardley names team to face Altrincham

Notts County boss Neal Ardley has made one change to his side that lost to Dover on the opening day of the season as the Magpies searched for their first win of the campaign tonight.

Dion Kelly-Evans has been drafted in at left-back to replace Adam Chicksen who is not involved in the squad to face the National League new boys.

Otherwise it was as you were for Notts from the team that lost 1-0 at the Crabble with Ardley placing faith in his more senior and established pros.

As usual it was Sam Slocombe in goal behind the back four of Richard Brindley, Connell Rawlinson, Alex Lacey and Kelly-Evans.

In midfield, Callum Roberts took the right wing spot, with Jake Reeves and Michael Doyle in the middle. Jim O'Brien was deployed wide on the left.

Up front Kyle Wootton and Wes Thomas were the favoured partnership.

On the bench was Elisha Sam, Enzio Boldeiwjn, Jimmy Knowles, Sam Graham and Ruben Rodrigues.
